This year's tournament was hosted at Fauxdegla in Wales. With the squad draw done, team meal eaten (thanks again Ian Gordon), and the targets set, the time had finally arrived to compete against the five home nations.
With Storm Lilian doing her best to ruin everyone's Friday, Team Jersey dug in and showed great resiliency. Courtney Pounds hit her first 25 straight in a Home International, Graham Pallot hit 74 / 75 in his last 3 rounds of the day and Mark Andrews, Tim Donati-Ford & Graham Pallot each ended the day on a very respectable 94 / 100 given the conditions.
Saturday morning was the complete opposite to Friday with the clouds rolling in and the wind dropping significantly. Andy De La Cour made his intent clear banging in a 25 straight first round, Tim Donati-Ford hit 49 / 50 and Ben Garnier hit his first 25 straight at a Home International in his last round.
Once everything had been added up, we discovered that Jersey had finished 3rd in both Veterans and Super-Veterans and 4th in Ladies - excellent results all round! Jersey's individual winners as follows:
Congratulations and massive thanks to all of Team Jersey in what was another fantastic weekend. We look forward to doing it all again next year in Northern Ireland.
